• Primary technical consultant (internal and external) for customer applications in the material handling industry (Airport, Courier, Express, Parcel & Postal) on process and machine level.
• Key-contact for identifying and assessing innovation topics and trends.
• Identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction.
• Technical interface between the customer and appropriate internal development and product management departments.
• Coordinate and lead customer demonstration installations, including the monitoring and reporting on performance.
• Provide pre- and post-sales project technical consultancy.
• Support field evaluations and competitive tests.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science (by education or experience).
• Experience in industrial automation, material handling (Parcel Industry) and controls.
• PLC (SPS), DCS, Vision (2D/3D), Auto Identification (Barcode/RFID), Volume Measurement, Robotics and Safety experience.
• Project Management.
• Excellent language skills in English, German is a plus.
• Willingness for travelling.
• Self-initiative and decision-making skills.
